  22 Lakh Adolescent in Uttarakhand state, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has launched a health programme for adolescents, in the age group of 10-19 years in Phase manner, which would target their nutrition, reproductive health and substance abuse, among other issues. The key principles of this programme is adolescent participation and leadership, Equity and inclusion, Gender Equity and strategic partnerships with other sectors and stakeholders. The programme envisions enabling all adolescents in India to realize their full potential by making informed and responsible decisions related to their health and well being and by accessing the services and support they need to do so.
  Target population.
  The targets group for RKSK is 10-19 years and the target population is sub divided =
  Female – 10-14 years (including school going and drop outs)
  Female -15-19 years (Including school going and drop outs)
  Male -10-14 years (Including school going and drop outs)
  Male -15-19 years (Including school going and drop outs)
  Married Adolescents –male & female (Including school going and drop outs between the age group of 15-19 years
  In First Phase :
  There are 13 Districts in Uttarakhand out of which all the blocks of 06 districts will be covered by the ongoing RKSK Programme. Name of these districts are –
  Dehradun
  Udham Singh Nagar
  Nainital
  Haridwar (HPD)
  Pauri (HPD)
  Tehri (HPD)
  There 07 RKSK Counselors Out of 09 Sanctioned, of Block Level Hospital and District Level Hospital Posted in District
  Facility Level Initiatives -
  07 AFHCs will be operationalized in 06 blocks.

  Weekly Iron Folic Supplementation Programme
  Menstrual Hygiene Scheme
